With tryouts just around the corner, I’d like to remind everyone that all players—new and returning—are required to register for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. We’ve also put together an exciting Summer Training Program packed with fun, high-energy sessions designed to keep players sharp and motivated. Tryouts are open to any player born from 2007-2019 regardless of playing experience or club affiliation. Players born from 2007-2013 (Premier) will try out on May 12-13, and players born between 2014-2019 will tryout on May 19-20. Remember that all current PBFC Rush players must register and attend tryouts for the new season. We hope to see your family there! PBFC Rush Summer Training - Summer is right around the corner, and we’re excited to invite your player to PBFC Summer Training 2025! This is the perfect opportunity to keep their skills sharp, stay active, and have fun with friends while training under PBFC Rush coaches. Coastal Rush ID Camp (2011-2013) & College Combine (2007-2010) - PBFC Rush Directors highly encourage Premier players who are interested in playing at a higher level to register for the Coastal Rush ID Camp (2011-2013) and College Combine (2007-2010) next week. The purpose of the ID camp (May 6) is for players interested in playing for Coastal Rush ECNL-RL to meet the coach and see what the competition level is like before official ECNL-RL tryouts. The College Combine (May 7) will be an opportunity for players to get trained and seen by 20 college coaches from around the Southeast. These coaches will offer their expertise and skills to prepare players for college soccer, and to help guide those who are still deciding. Club Announcements Opportunity for Credit or Refund to your Player’s Account - We are in need of volunteers for the Girl's Soccer Shootout this weekend. We will credit or refund $40 per shift to your player's SportsEngine account after completion of the event. If you have already completed your volunteer hours for spring, this would be an additional credit or refund to your account. This is a great opportunity for students to receive volunteer hours as well, so siblings may participate and we will sign off any hours needed. Click here to sign up ! Academy Homework Scorecards - Just a friendly reminder that PBFC Rush Homework Scorecards are due on March 3rd! Make sure your player turns in their scorecard, even if they didn’t complete all the exercises—we want to celebrate their effort and progress! They enjoyed a beautiful Saturday putting their skills to work in low-pressure games against teams they will see later this season in tournaments. February 22 - Coastal Rush Jamboree - The Coastal Rush Jamboree was a successful day of 2013-2015 teams playing in a new format to help prepare them for 9v9 and 11v11 games. Coaches refereed and provided teaching moments in real-time throughout the 60 minute games so that players could understand and improve their skills within the new format. Coastal Rush uses the Jamboree as a tool to prepare our home club players as they progress into 9v9 and 11v11 games.
