New Training Layout 24/25 Season

April 29, 2024

PBFC Rush is eager to announce its improved training layout for the 2024/25 Season. Historically the club has trained two mandatory nights per week, with an optional training day on Monday. While this layout served us well, our directors strongly believe that in light of our club’s substantial growth in numbers, which will require more field space, our teams will most importantly further their development with three mandatory training nights each week.

This shift is one that is common among many sports and clubs in our community. With just one more training session a week, players are touching the ball for an estimated 60 more hours than our previous training layouts. We are the first Coastal Rush Home Club to implement a 3-day training model, and we hope that by allowing our players more time on the pitch that it will translate to greater development during matches.

In order to maximize field space at Southwest Complex and Baars and to accommodate this change, we will be alternating practice nights for the Girls Program and Boys Program. There will be one time slot each night from 6:00-7:30 pm for both Academy and Premier sessions. Below is a tentative layout of which days and complexes the teams will be training.
This layout is not final, but is a good projection of what training will look like in the Fall.

We are looking forward to the new season! We will continue to update teams through out the Summer on field layouts and training times.
