Age Group Changes for 2026-2027 Season!
Beginning with the 2026–2027 seasonal year (August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027), youth soccer nationwide will move to an August 1 age-group cutoff instead of January 1.
This change, led by U.S. Soccer and adopted by major governing bodies including US Club, US Youth Soccer, and AYSO, is designed to better align players with the school-year calendar, reduce the number of “trapped players,” and support overall player development.
At PBFC Rush, all players will try out in their new age group under the updated August 1 birth-year format. After evaluations, coaches and Directors will review each player and determine if any are appropriate candidates to play up.

Tryouts are open to all players born between 2019-2007, regardless of skill level or club affiliation.
